Patricia “Patt" Benoit, 72, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at her home in Ocala, FL on Sunday, October 18, 2026.

Patt Benoit was born on March 16, 1954, in Newburyport, MA to Ruth (Buckley) Knowles and Manfred Knowles. She married the love of her life, George Benoit, on September 20, 1980 where they spent 45 wonderful years together and raised 3 children on the Cape. Patt spent her career as an Early Childhood teacher and cared for many children and families in her time. 

Patt is survived by her children, Travis and their wife, Carolyn, and son Jack Benoit of Farmington, NH, Marybeth (Benoit) and their husband Dana Leahy of Rochester, NH, and Spencer and their wife, Kim Benoit of Plymouth, NH. She is also survived by her sister Cindy (Knowles) Ryan, and husband, Dave Ryan of Ocala, FL, and their children, Jasmine Ryan of Manchester, NH and Brianne Ryan-Mathews and their wife, Cat Mathews of North Berwick, ME.

Patt is predeceased by her husband, George Benoit, Ruth Knowles and Manfred Knowles.

Funeral hours will be held on Sunday, November 8 at 4 PM at Emmanual Advent Christian Church in Rochester, NH. All are welcome. If unable to attend you can celebrate her life by enjoying a margarita, being kind, and enjoying time with those that you love.
