In Loving Memory of Lee Ellen (Macintyre) Blake

Lee Ellen Blake, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 6, 2026, at the age of 85. She was surrounded by her loving family at her home in The Villages, Florida.

Originally from Peabody, Massachusetts, Lee married her high school sweetheart, Ken Blake, 66 years ago. Together, they raised their four sons in Danvers, Massachusetts. Lee’s life was defined by an unwavering dedication to her family and a deeply caring nature—qualities that also guided her rewarding career as a nurse. Throughout her life, she brought immense compassion, strength, kindness, and humor to everyone around her.

 In 2002, Lee and Ken moved to The Villages, Florida. They quickly immersed themselves in community activities, built lasting friendships, and embraced a retirement full of life, energy, and joy.

Lee was predeceased by her parents, John and Marion Macintyre, and her sister, Jean Browning. She is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth Blake (The Villages, FL); her brother, John Macintyre (The Villages, FL); and her four sons and their spouses: Kenneth Blake Jr. (Jacqueline) of Portland, ME; Brenton Blake of San Francisco, CA; Randall Blake (Catherine) of Amesbury, MA; and Rodney Blake (Thomas Leonbruno) of Summerfield, FL. She also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren and their spouses: Jamie Moore (Gregory) of Saratoga, NY; Craig Blake (Cary) of Portland, ME; Catrina Blake (Andrew) of San Francisco, CA; and Randall O’Hara (Michael) of Windham, ME; as well as three great-grandchildren, Frederica, Clara, and Bo Blake (Portland, ME), and many nieces and nephews who will forever carry her memory.

Lee's greatest legacy is the beautiful family she built and the countless lives she touched. She passed as she lived—surrounded by the people she loved most. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
