Florence "Flo" (Kaiser) Back, age 98, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026.

She was born on March 26, 1928, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Frank and Helen (Morrissey) Kaiser. Flo grew up in Cincinnati and graduated from Hughes High School in 1946. On October 27, 1951, she married Paul L. Back, with whom she shared 27 years of marriage until his passing in 1978. Flo worked for the University of Cincinnati in the Registrar and Student Records office for over 25 years.

Becoming a widow did not prevent Flo from enjoying life. She traveled extensively, enjoyed gardening, and her family and friends knew her love for chocolate. She was very active at the Colerain Senior Center and the North College Hill Senior Center, participating in activities such as chair volleyball, playing cards, bunco, and the widows/widowers group. In 2022, Flo moved to The Villages, where she was finally able to enjoy warm weather year-round. There, she embraced the golf cart lifestyle, played bunco at the recreation center, watched beautiful sunsets, solved various puzzles, and enjoyed live music at The Villages town squares.

She is survived by her five daughters: Marilyn (Dave) Kreidenweis of The Villages, Florida; Bev (Ken) Points of Walton, Kentucky; Sue (Joe) Sansone of The Villages, Florida; Pam (Randy) Boyd of Dover, Tennessee; and Kathy (Dale) Pringle of The Villages, Florida. Flo is also survived by eight grandchildren: Bill, Amy (Steve), Jami (Rich), Jeannette, Joseph (Emma), Kevin (Maggie), Justin (Brittany), and Amanda; twelve great-grandchildren: Bill, Lexi, Cole, Chase, Olivia, Rex, Braxton, Lane, Noah, Luke, Morgan, and Isabella; and one great-great-grandchild, Kayden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her grandson, Kyle; and both of her parents. 

A prayer service will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 11000 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249, on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00 am. 

A Celebration of Life will be at St Ann Catholic Church Trinity Room, 2900 Galbraith Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45239, 1:00 - 3:00 pm.

To honor Flo, guests are encouraged to wear casual, colorful attire.
